Nay' Ingozi: Obi Praise, Ziggy and Honest Diebolic of DiepSociety raising the Diepsloot flag up high in the 14th annual Moshito event in Newtown,Bassline, Johannesburg.

DiepSociety finally landed a distribution deal from the organisers of Moshito event chaired by Sipho Sithole, the founder and President of music empire Native Rhythms, following their ostentatious performance in Newtown, Bassline, Johannesburg on the 9th of September. Said Honest Diebolic on Tuesday.
“Yeah, we got a distribution deal.” He said. “Well, they will distribute our music, but we are yet to discuss everything with the Moshito board.”
The deal will see the team comprising Obi Praise, Ziggy and Honest Diebolic release and distribute the production they are working on nationwide for the first time, after their remarkable hard work of years, trying to break into the music industry.
“We are working on a full production, Ingozi will be a teaser to get the people to know us.” He said.
The Exhale hit maker also said Ingozi is a blend of Hip-hop with some mother land tribal taste.
“The production is a blend of hip-hop and a touch of the South African tribal flavour.”
The panel of judges and the crowd were taken aloft by the performance the DiepSociety dished out, when they sang thier latest hit single titled Ingozi for the first time, the judges even commented that the group has what the South African music industry is missing.
“The Moshito judges were impressed and said we have what is missing in the industry.” Diebolic said.
The fans can look out for Ingozi and its promo video that is set to be released this year soon.
“The single is gonna be released soon, all together with its promo video.” He concluded.
The annual event whose theme was “Rhythms of the Ancients” apparently caters for the unsigned artists seeking to break in to the music industry and this year the event was powered by The Department of arts and culture, Trace and Yfm.
