Honest Diebolic has finally received the recognition he deserves. This comes after the exhale hit maker’s mixtape, Passion vs Pride got nominated for the mixtape of the year at the 011 awards 2019 on Tuesday.
Diebolic attributed his escalating success to the love and support he receives from his fans in and outside Diepsloot.
“It’s great beyond measure reason being the love and support has spread throughout other cities and townships beside Diepsloot.”
“The love and support we get, fuels our passion and drive and most importantly we are their voices.”
The D as famously known, is nominated alongside demented artists such as KayGee XI, Cool Gee and Nate Africa.
“There's a lot of competition but I'm happy to say KayGee XI from Honeydew is also nominated for the Mixtape of the year award too, Cool Gee is nominated for the song of the year award and Nate Africa is nominated for hustler of the year award.”
In his mixtape Honest Diebolic featured artists like KayGee XI, Ziggy, Jay Th’Plug, Stixtic Martez, Cool Gee and PsynDiep, while in production he worked with producers like Obi Praise and Maxx Afiliation beats.
The awards will take place in Braamfontein, 1st June this year and fans can vote for Diebolic by sending the sms "011 Honest Diebolic" to 35029.
