A Diepsloot business woman and domestic worker for 8 years, says she is eager to keep the Diepsloot facilities clean at all times.

Sphiwe Mlilo has recently started a cleaning company called Unique Cleaning service PTY (Ltd) in Diepsloot, North of Johannesburg, with a mission of cleaning her local facilities such as clinics, hospitals, shopping malls and schools around Diepsloot and other neighbouring communities.

"Unique cleaning service wants to make sure that all malls and places we work at are always clean. The company will target Hospitals, clinics, malls, offices and other public places." Mlilo said.

She said the company will also create jobs for young people and empower women struggling to make ends meet. "I want to empower women and create jobs for young people, so that their lives can be better."

Sphiwe Mlilo is apparently inspired by the new developments that are coming into Diepsloot at high speed, and said has seen this as an oppurtunity to start her own company.

"Because of many developments that are coming into the community of Diepsloot, i grew a desire to start a cleaning business that will maintain these developments."

Mlilo believes the community will soon become a center of attraction for many tourists around the world, and for that she said, it is important to take care of our community.

"Diepsloot will be a center of attraction for tourism, so we have to upgrade it and keep its facilities clean, so that it can attract many more tourists in the future."

She promises clients that wish to do business with her the best and quality service that will meet their needs to a full satisfaction.

"People who wish to do business with us can expect a good service from us."

Although Unique cleaning service survives on toiletry and Tupperware she sells, Mlilo wants to see her business spreading into other provinces and becoming considerably prominent.

"In three years times, i'd like to see Unique cleaning service going abroad and becoming well known."

Uniue cleaning service needs funds to  be operational and competitive in the market, Mlilo said. She said she needs money to buy equipment and other requirements to have her business going like a dream.

"For now i'm selling tissues, steel wool and Tupperware to make money, even though it's not enough to buy necessary equipments."

Sphiwe Mlilo markets her business on Facebook and hands out business cards as well.

"I tell people about my company on Facebook and also give out my business cards to the people."
