The BLF Leader Andile Mngxitama says they will support the former president Jacob Zuma during his trial at the Durban high court.

Speaking to the supporters of Jacob Zuma, outside the Durban high court, Friday, where Zuma is expected to appear for 16 charges of corruption.

Mngxitama said they will support the former statesman Jacob Zuma, until the land returns to the people, he said in his speech the former president is accused because he wanted the land to return to its people, and the economy to the people.

“Msholozi doesn’t have a case, Msholozi’s sin is to have said the land should return to its owners,”

“They want to take Msholozi to prison because he said free education for all, they want to take Msholozi to prison because he said mining charter says the economy must return to the people.”

The BLF leader said Zuma is the president of the people not the president of four hundred people in parliament who don’t know their work, it is possible that Mngxitama was referring to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s new cabinet.

“Zuma You are the president of the people, you are not the president of 400 hundred people in parliament who don’t know what they are doing.”

In one of his twits Mngxitama questioned the trade union leader Zwelinzima Vavi, The EFF Leader Julius Malema and The minister of transport Blade Nzimande for wanting Jacob Zuma incarcerated for his charges.

“The people who celebrated the dropping of these very Zuma Charges in 2009 (Vavi; Malema; Nzimande) how came they now want Zuma sent to jail for the same charges?

Zuma will appear to the Durban high court, today for 16 charges relating to 783 payments, which he allegedly received in connection with the controversial multi-billion rand arms deal in 1999.
