The Cape Town City Midfielder Teko Modise is all of a tweeter at Cape Town City, the former Mamelodi Sundowns General said on twitter Monday.

Modise has promised to work hard for his club and put a good performance despite a 2-1 lose in the CAF confederation cup against Costa do Sol on Sunday, Cape Town Stadium.

“My happiness is everything and everyone can see that I’m happy here, I want to show it by putting in a good performances.” He said.

Cape Town city congratulated him for a wonderful game he had,when they beat Orlando Pirates 1-0, Wednesday in a Nedbank cup at the Cape Town Stadium and said Modise is playing the best football at the club.

“Congrats to City’s Teko Modise for a massive 90 minutes commanding the midfield, the general playing the best football of his life.”

The Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy attested to that and said the General is enjoying his football because he's in a better environment, where he is loved and respected.

"Teko is in a much happier space and environment and he is loved, you can see it every single game." McCarthy said. 

Teko Modise has played sixteen games for the Citizens and scored the only goal in his debut against Platinum Stars August 2017, when they beat them 3-1 at Cape Town Stadium.

The Navigator had in his career played for The City Pillars, Supersport United, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Cape Town City will host Golden Arrows in their next league game at Cape Town Stadium 18th April.
