The Kaizer Chiefs’ coach Steve Komphela believes his side will beat the determined Orlando Pirates in a very crucial Soweto Derby, Saturday, afternoon at the FNB Stadium.

Komphela told the media on Friday that, he is hopeful that his team will walk out of the pitch with three points in the bag come six o’clock.

“The sad part of it is that come six o’clock on Saturday, somebody will be regretting and others will be rejoicing and I hope the gold and black will be rejoicing come six o’clock Saturday.”

Chiefs will use this match as an opportunity to close a gap the high flying Mamelodi Sundowns have created between them and the Phefeni boys.

“It’s crucial match looking at the position of both teams, for us a crucial one, apart from the bragging rights, it will be a question of giving us a wonderful opportunity to close the gap between us and Mamelodi Sundowns.”

The Kaizer Chiefs defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele said they will make sure they execute their plans rightly to pip the Ghost to the post as the team in order to walk away with the important three points.

“We have a game plan, we have to stick to our game plan, we have to attack and take the chances that we create and make the right pass at the right time, obviously defending well as a team.”

“For me that’s all that matters and at the end of the day if you do those things right you are likely to get three points.” He said

The Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic sent a strong warning to Kaizer Chiefs camp saying will go all out with guns ablaze to destroy them and that talking will never win them games.

He also said to beat Chiefs one needs a perfect balance between a defense, creative building and attack.

“We’ll go all out in attack, but talking about attack, nobody has ever won by talking.”

“We need to have a perfect balance between either defending, creative build up and sharp attack, and this is exactly what we are looking at for this Saturdays’ game.” Sredojevic said.

The match will statrt at 15:0h0 South African time, Saturday Afternoon.
