With the women’s month almost over the hill, Nondomiso Sibiya has raised the bar for young women all around South Africa by scooping the Fair lady rising star award at Fairlady Magazine Santam on Friday.

The hard working Sibiya was recognized for her sheroic dedication in keeping Diepsloot clean, as well as fighting against the illegal dumping in her community.

The 21 year old entrepreneur said on Tuesday, young people should strive for the top and not for the bottom, she also said they should have purpose and know what is best for them in order to achieve their goals.

“It’s more powerful when you have purpose and when you know why you are doing it, and that thing can push you every morning to work even harder to archive your goals.”

“All I can say is that let’s arise, let’s be the head not the tail, let’s be above not below we are extra ordinary.”

“Let’s reach for the top cause the bottom is already overcrowded and we can see that many people are here, we all want to reach to the top but it takes that thing, that is this really what I want, am I really willing to suffer.”

The bubbly entrepreneur also acknowledged Diepsloot as the reason she has risen from the dust to be where she is today.

“It doesn’t matter where we come from, we from Diepsloot and the challenge we face are not to our disadvantage but are to our advantage because we get to solve them and we get to shine in the mist of the dust.”

“What I always believe in is in each and every one of us there’s more, there’s a diamond u know, we all have potential. it’s all about what you do about it.”
