MDANTSANE POLICE ARREST SIX SUSPECTS FOR BUSINESS BURGLARY.

Six suspects aged between 24 and 50 years old were arrested Monday night, after breaking into one of the famous butchery at the High way Shopping center in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape.

The police website said suspects were allegedly in possession of unlicensed firearms and the burglary implements.

They had tried to flee away with the undisclosed amount of money but were later on caught in the highway by the members of the SAPS, who were on patrol in the night.

“Members were on patrol when they spotted the six suspects around Highway acting suspiciously, which prompted a search.”

"They were found with possession of two unlicensed firearms and burglary implements like grinders hammers to mention but a few. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.”

The suspects are expected to appear in the Mdantsane Magistrate's Court for business burglary, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition soon.
