AN ILLEGAL DUMPING THAT WENT HORRIBLY WRONG.

GOING UP: An overloaded bin of rubble jacks a truck upwards.

A truck driver almost died on Friday, afternoon, when his truck slipped into the steep down the rivulet, Diepsloot, ext.4, Johannesburg.

Apparently the driver was illegally dumping, when suddenly the chains that are holding the overloaded bin of rubble broke loose and pulled the truck down the steep jacking it upwards.

“I was dumping when the chains that are holding the bin broke and pulled the truck into the steep forcing it to look upwards. “The terrified driver said.

The driver was immediately helped out of the truck by the onlookers after a great effort of team work.

“We thank God that he (The driver) came out of the truck safe and alive.” Said one of the onlookers on the scene.

The truck was also leaking diesel when the driver was helped out, luckily it never caught the fire as a result.
